Mesotherapie

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy of the cervical spine

A little, rarely and in the right place – that is the principle of mesotherapy.

This treatment method originated in France, where it has been practised successfully for 50 years. It represents a synthesis of neural therapy, acupuncture and pharmacotherapy. It involves administering mixtures of medication in extremely small doses as close as possible to the desired treatment site, using multiple microinjections into the skin.

Although the amount of medication administered is very small, its effectiveness is enhanced by the combination of different medicines and the targeted, localised method of application. The resulting depot in the skin ensures a rapid and lasting therapeutic effect. The treatment is quick and often has a lasting effect, and when applied correctly, has virtually no side effects for the patient.

So what are the main areas of application?

The conditions for which mesotherapy can provide relief or a cure span numerous fields of medicine. These are often complex cases that cannot be helped, or can only be helped inadequately, by other means. At the ENT Centre, we use mesotherapy for:

  • Tinnitus
  • Sudden hearing loss
  • Vertigo
  • Muscle tension
  • Neck pain
  • Headaches
  • Exhaustion

The treatment is carried out using sterile materials and proven medicinal mixtures based on a local anaesthetic. As the treatment is applied close to the affected area, the quantities of medication used remain in the microdose range, which is very beneficial for tolerability. Thanks to synergistic effects with this type of treatment, success is often achieved in cases of chronic and persistent conditions or pain, even in ‘untreatable’ or therapy-resistant cases.
