Paediatric ENT

ENT conditions are not uncommon in children. Infections are frequent because their immune systems are still developing. In children, the tonsils (the pharyngeal tonsil and the two palatine tonsils) work flat out to produce antibodies against bacteria and viruses. However, there are numerous other ENT conditions that can affect children. Treating these conditions is of great importance, as the consequences for a growing child can be far more far-reaching than the current situation might suggest.
