Chronic infections

Targeted treatment of chronic infections

Seemingly harmless chronic infections not only impair quality of life but can easily become a health risk. Inflammation in the body can act as a source of toxins, triggering various other conditions. Circulatory problems, heart issues, changes in blood vessels, rheumatism and even arteriosclerosis are possible consequences of inflammatory processes in the body.

A large percentage of these foci of infection are found in organs within the ENT region. Chronic tonsillitis and sinusitis, in particular, are among the causes of secondary conditions.

Whenever there is a suspicion that inflammation could be the cause of a particular condition, the ENT area should therefore be given special consideration. Here, we work closely with doctors from other specialist disciplines, for example with:

  • Cardiologists
  • Urologists
  • or general practitioners

In this way, the true cause of a clinical picture can often be identified much more quickly. This enables effective treatment before the patient develops serious health complications.
